A Day in LA {Los Angeles, California}

While working on a complete remodel of my client’s master bathroom, we got to a point in the design where a big shopping trip was needed. The majority of the big installs were done and it was time for the fun part…accessories! We decided to spend the day in Los Angeles shopping for accents that we couldn’t find in San Diego.

Here is a little summary of our day and some of the awesome places we visited.

We started the day at HD Buttercup in Culver City, CA. HD Buttercup has a variety of different styles in furniture and home accents. From sleek Mid-Century designs to vintage accent pieces, there’s something for each and every style. I found an amazing white farm style pendant light on sale for $69!

From there, we visited a couple of shops in the same shopping center including: Rejuvenation, Room & Board, and Rug Warehouse.

The next stop was the Restoration Hardware Flagship Store. We were so excited to see this in person since the pictures online looked amazing! I have to say…we were underwhelmed. Yes, it was huge and gorgeous. But honestly it wasn’t anything special and we probably won’t be going back.

Up next was CB2 & Cisco Home. Both places were great but we didn’t find or purchase anything.

Knowing we would find great things for sure, we stopped by West Elm & Pottery Barn. Both great stores and much bigger than the San Diego locations. We selected a rug & lots of accessories.

While walking around town we happened to stop in the cutest tile shop. I don’t even remember the name but we found the perfect accent tile for my client’s bathroom! Can’t wait to show you once it’s installed!

So there it is! A day in LA!
